TPK Won 2013 Ministry of Economic Affairs Industrial Innovation Award

Ministry of Economic Affairs annually awarding ceremony- "Innovation Night - 2013 Ministry of Economic Affairs Industrial Innovation Awarding Ceremony" was held yesterday (9 Oct). The Minister of Economic Affairs Mr. Jiazhu Chang, as the Chairman of the ceremony, invited Vice President of Taiwan Wu Den-yih, Vice Premier Mao Chi-kuo and other dignitaries to give speech and present the awards of “the 3rd Ministry of Economic Affairs National Innovative Award" , "2013 National Invention Award", contribution Award and Gold Award and others awards. There are 66 prize winners in total, including enterprises, SMEs, academic institutions, corporate research and inventers.

6 representatives were giving the award of "National Invention Award". They are TPK, HTC, the ITRI, ScinoPharm, the metal center and the National Earthquake Engineering Research Center NARL. The vice President Mr. Wu respected that the Winners actuated Taiwan’s industrial innovation, promoted Taiwan’s economic vitality and established a distinctive model to Taiwan industrial transformation. The vice Premier Mao Chi-kuo also mentioned that the government would effectively syncs international development trends and builds an industrial-quality internal environment in 10 years, in order to create a new industrial century and new opportunities for future.
